Walk with Geo and Allegra
Story
Hi,
IT'S ALL DONE!!! WHAT A GREAT EVENT AND BEAUTIFUL DAY!
Walk With Me is a national fundraising event that spreads hope about social inclusion for people with a disability, while raising much-needed funds to support them. Were you inspired by the 2012 London Paralympic games? You’re supporting future generations of Paralympians at Walk With Me! The money that you donate will be used to help fund vital Northcott services, including Northcott’s Sporting Carnivals where young people like 2012 Paralympics competitor Kristy Pond (see http://www.northcott.com.au/
I walked with my sister who works tirelessly for Northcott and her team THE ROVERS!!! We joined over 700 people of all abilities in their local community for a day full of entertainment, fun and most importantly to walk together!
All funds raised from Northcott's Walk With Me will fund local Northcott respite services, which provide children and adults with disabilities the opportunity to enjoy various activities while their carers experience a break from their demanding role.
Please dig deep and donate now to help me support such a worthy cause with a secure online donation, after which you will automatically receive a tax deductible gift receipt via email.
It’s as easy as clicking on DONATE and following the prompts.
Thank you for anything you can do to show you believe in seeing a person’s ability first and not their disability. Your support means the world to them!

Activity
Northcott
Northcott is a leading service provider in NSW and the ACT, providing services and support for people with disabilities and their families and carers. We are an independent, not-for-profit organisation that receives some government funding. We rely on the generosity of individuals, organisations and community groups to continue to provide services, particularly where no government funding or limited support is available. For over 80 years, we have supported children, young people and adults with disabilities to develop life skills, build confidence and become active participants in their communities. Today, we help more than 13,000 people, including many families and carers, driven by our purpose to build an inclusive society where people can live the life they choose.
